SUBSCRIPTION, PLAN CHANGES & CANCELLATION
Club HaSera billing periods, plan management, cancellation, and account deletion.
EFFECTIVE DATE: JULY 20, 2026 LAST UPDATED: JULY 20, 2026
1. SCOPE AND TRANSPARENCY
This Policy explains how Club HaSera subscriptions are started, renewed, changed, canceled, and ended. It supplements the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Mandatory consumer rights under German law and the law of the consumer's country of habitual residence remain unaffected.
Before a binding order is placed, the checkout must clearly display the selected plan, its principal features, the total recurring price, the billing interval, the contract duration, renewal terms, accepted payment method, cancellation conditions, and any applicable tax. The final order control must make the payment obligation unambiguous.
2. AVAILABLE MONTHLY PLANS
CLUB provides one private listener space for EUR 5.50 per month. DUO provides two private listener spaces for EUR 8.90 per month. CREW provides four private listener spaces for EUR 13.90 per month. The purchaser is the subscription owner and makes one recurring payment for the entire plan. Each included listener uses a separate private access. The checkout controls the final binding price and identifies any applicable tax before the order is submitted.
3. BILLING PERIOD AND AUTOMATIC RENEWAL
A monthly billing period begins on the activation or renewal date confirmed by Stripe or PayPal and ends immediately before the corresponding date in the following month. The subscription renews for successive monthly billing periods until it is canceled. The listener area must display the next renewal date and the earliest effective cancellation date whenever payment integration is active.
4. UPGRADING A PLAN
A request to move to a plan with more listener spaces is scheduled for the next renewal date. The current plan remains active until the end of the paid billing period. On the renewal date, the payment provider charges the price of the new plan and Club HaSera activates the additional listener spaces after payment confirmation. No immediate mid-period upgrade charge is made unless the checkout expressly offers and the subscriber affirmatively accepts a different arrangement.
5. DOWNGRADING A PLAN
A request to move to a plan with fewer listener spaces is scheduled for the next renewal date. The current plan and its listener spaces remain active until the end of the paid billing period. The Manage Plan page must identify the effective date and the number of spaces that will remain. Before the downgrade takes effect, the subscription owner must be able to identify which spaces will remain active. Spaces exceeding the new plan limit expire when the new billing period begins.
6. CANCELLATION
The subscription owner may stop renewal through the clearly accessible cancellation process. Cancellation becomes effective at the end of the current paid billing period. No additional billing period is imposed solely because cancellation was requested. Access remains available through the displayed effective date, and no further recurring payment is taken after a timely cancellation. Club HaSera must provide an immediate electronic confirmation containing the cancellation request date and time and the effective contract-end date. Statutory rights to extraordinary termination remain unaffected.
7. PLAN OWNER AND LISTENER SPACES
CLUB includes one listener space in total. DUO includes two listener spaces in total. CREW includes four listener spaces in total. The purchaser's own space counts toward that total. One subscription owner pays for and manages all spaces. The other listeners do not provide payment information to Club HaSera. Each space has separate credentials, Favorites, playlists, and settings. Listeners within DUO or CREW do not receive access to one another's private collections or credentials.
8. EXPIRATION AND PERMANENT DELETION
When a subscription reaches its effective end date, all Listener Tokens and listener spaces connected to that subscription expire. Access to subscriber-only content ends for every included listener. Credentials, Favorites, playlists, and listener settings associated with those spaces are scheduled for permanent deletion and cannot be restored. A returning listener starts with a new subscription and a new private space.
Deletion of the listener space does not require deletion of records that must be retained to comply with tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or other legal obligations. Such records are separated from the active listener space, restricted to the relevant purpose, and retained only for the applicable statutory period. Payment providers maintain their own records under their legal obligations and privacy notices.
9. PAYMENTS AND PAYMENT PROVIDERS
Stripe is presented as the first payment option and PayPal as the second. Payment details are entered directly with the selected independent provider. Club HaSera should receive only the technical information required to identify the plan, payment status, subscription identifier, renewal date, and effective end date. A plan is activated or renewed only after reliable provider confirmation.
10. PAYMENT FAILURE
If a recurring payment fails, the payment provider may retry the payment in accordance with the terms displayed to the subscriber. The listener area must show the resulting status. Access may be suspended or ended only in accordance with the contract, mandatory law, and the provider-confirmed payment status. Permanent deletion must not occur merely because of a temporary processing delay or unresolved provider error.
11. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Consumers entering a distance contract generally have the statutory right of withdrawal described by German law. The required withdrawal instructions and model form must be supplied before or at contract conclusion. If immediate performance is requested during the withdrawal period, checkout must obtain every express request and acknowledgment required by law. This Policy does not waive or restrict any statutory withdrawal right.
12. PRIVACY AND DATA MINIMIZATION
Club HaSera does not require a public listener profile, does not use listening activity for advertising profiling, and does not sell listener data. It processes only the technical and pseudonymous information needed to deliver, secure, and manage the service or meet legal obligations. Further information appears in the Privacy Policy.
13. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
The version presented at checkout applies to the order, subject to mandatory law. Material changes affecting an active subscription must be communicated clearly before they take effect. A subscriber must not be moved to a higher-priced plan without an affirmative request.
